History
Mean Street Performance is a family owned and operated Corporation; Owner Richard Brown, his dad Keith (founder
of MSP), and brother Dan handle all the sales, orders, race events and fabrication in the shop. Richard's wife,
Julie, runs the office, does the marketing and is the administrator
of our website.On occasion you may see Richard's children helping out around the shop. They are passionate about their love of cars and drag racing. Richard, Keith and
Dan have over 30 years of experience with building race cars. Their attention to detail and total commitment
to perfection are evident in their work. They have proven that no challenge is too great. They have demonstrated
themselves as master fabricators on many varied types of custom jobs. What started as a garage hobby in 1979,
they have planned and built everything from car trailers and shop equipment to custom car parts, they now focus their attention
on building only great race cars. Work is performed at our shop in Coon Rapids, Minnesota just a 20 minute drive northwest
of Minneapolis.

Our Goal
It is our goal to give our customers the satisfaction they deserve. It is important that we first understand the
level of racing you, the customer, want to be on. While some people may need a single roll bar for security, others may need
a full cage, we work closely with you to achieve your goal. We want to make your race car secure, keep you safe
and work within your guidelines.
