History
Mean Street Performance is owned and operated by father/son team Keith Brown & Richard Brown.
They are passionate about their love of cars and drag racing. Together they have over 30 years of experience with building race
cars. Their attention to detail and total commitment to perfection are evident in their work. They have proven
that no challenge is too great. They have demonstrated themselves as master fabricators on many varied types of custom
jobs. What started as a hobby in 1979, they have planned and built everything from car trailers and shop equipment
to custom car parts, they now focus their attention on building only great race cars. Work is performed in Coon Rapids, Minnesota
just a 20 minute drive northwest of Minneapolis. They have just moved into their new 3000 sq. foot
building space as of October 2008.

Our Goal
It is our goal to give our customers the satisfaction they deserve. It is important that we first understand the
level of racing you, the customer, want to be on. While some people may need a single roll bar for security, others may need
a full cage, we work closely with you to achieve your goal. We want to make your race car secure, keep you safe
and work within your guidelines.
Why Mean Street
Performance?
There are many talented car chassis builders out
there, but we can offer some advantages. This is a custom chassis shop and we work closely with NHRA officials to
make your car the safest in your class. We take a great deal of pride in your car each step of the way. Call us today,
tell us about your project and let’s schedule you in at Mean Street Performance. "Thank you for visiting our website!"
